Join us at BlackBerry QNX as we seek an experienced product marketer to lead our presence in the automotive industry. In this role, you'll drive strategic positioning for QNX software portfolio, including QNX Sound and BlackBerry Ivy, emphasizing their benefits and overall value, and ensuring strong product adoption and engagement. Leveraging your expertise, you'll develop targeted messaging, value propositions, and go-to-market strategies that address customer needs effectively. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you'll support marketing campaigns as well as sales enablement efforts. With a minimum of 8 years of automotive industry experience, your seasoned perspective and proven track record in strategic positioning and value proposition development will be instrumental. Additionally, you'll play a crucial role in leading new product or product release launches specifically within the automotive industry, including our foundational software and middleware solutions. Your marketing experience coupled with a technical/engineering background, will be highly advantageous in understanding customer pain points and requirements to tailor messaging and value propositions accordingly.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic positioning of QNX portfolio within the automotive industry, defining buying personas and value propositions..
- Focus on understanding customer pain points and requirements to tailor our messaging and value propositions accordingly, ensuring alignment with customer needs and enhancing product adoption and engagement..
- Support the sales teams to effectively communicate product value propositions and address customer inquiries.
- Lead new product or product release launches specifically within the automotive industry, including our middleware solutions such as QNX Sound and BlackBerry Ivy..
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies collaboratively with various stakeholders in the marketing team..
- Create impactful marketing content, including presentations, brochures, blogs, videos, and industry studies. These studies involve conducting research with industry analysts to analyze our product performance, cost reduction strategies for customers, and contributions to cost-saving measures..
- Conduct detailed market and audience analysis to develop competitive intelligence..
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product management, and sales teams..
Qualifications:
Specialization in the Automotive Industry with a minimum of 8 years of experience.
Demonstrated expertise in strategic positioning and value proposition development within the automotive sector.
Proven track record in product marketing and content creation for various stages of the customer lifecycle.
Ability to distill technical documentation into compelling stories tailored to different audiences.
Strong collaboration and communication skills across multiple time zones and cultures. Experience working with global sales teams and executive leadership.
Excellent project management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Creative problem-solving abilities.
Marketing experience coupled with Technical/engineering background is a plus.
