HVAC MECHANIC

Our client company in Akron, OH immediately seeks an experienced HVAC mechanic/technician who will have core responsibilities working with residential and large scale commercial customers. HVAC mechanics work independently and as part of a team, at times with limited supervision. As an HVAC Mechanic, you will: Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems Use a variety of hand and power tools Work in both residential and commercial environments, while representing the client's core values Conduct inspections, identify and replace faulty components, and ensure the functionality and efficiency of HVAC systems HVAC Mechanic/Technician position highlights: Full time, 1st Shift position paying $20 to $40 per hour. (Higher salaries negotiable for those with more experience and skill.) 520-hour evaluation period prior to permanent placement. Direct hire negotiable. Full benefits from client available within 90 days once permanently hired. What we look for in an HVAC Mechanic/Technician: Certificate from college or technical school, or 1-5 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination. Ability to read blue prints and follow detailed instructions. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
