Professional Surveyor

* Perform surveying assignments requiring a solid grasp of basic surveying principles and the exercise of professional judgment.

* Perform work under supervision of the Survey Department Manager.

* Ability to establish right of way lines and property boundaries from field collected data and public records.

* Ability to use collected data to provide mapping for engineering projects and construction plans.

* Prepare and certify various types of plats, maps, descriptions, reports and exhibits.

* Assist and mentor survey office and field personnel in the performance of their duties.

* Perform all work in a safe and responsible manner, in accordance with the Health and Safety Plan.

* Civil3D and Trimble Survey equipment experience preferred.

* MicroStation OpenRoads and GIS experience a plus.

* Experience calculating construction stake out points from plans and electronic media helpful.
* Possess a current Ohio Professional Surveyor's license.

* Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Surveying, or another relevant field (with the required surveying coursework).

* Have or the ability to obtain ODOT Right-of Way Reviewer Certification.

* 0 -- 5 years relevant experience as a Professional Surveyor.

* Ability to visit and safely traverse construction and project sites and complying with all applicable safety codes and requirements, including a valid driver's license....
