We encourage developing and attracting expertise that differentiates us as a company as we continue to raise the bar.Job SummaryWe are looking for a Data Analyst who's able to leverage their technical data skills to help work efficiently between our business clients and our internal data engineers to produce effective and powerful data solutionsJob ResponsibilitiesTranslate business data needs into technical specificationsExecute the define strategy as laid out by data and analytics leadership teamAnalyze and investigate wide-ranging data sources looking for patterns, data quality, and specifics to help ensure the right data is used for the business needEnable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable formatAbility to pivot on deliverables as priorities changeEvaluate and improve existing build processesDevelop queries and visualizations for ad-hoc requests and projects, as well as ongoing reportingGenerate project documentation and assist with Build-to-Run activities upon project closureUse analytical and statistical rigor to solve complex problems and drive business decisionsSupport automation of business processes to allow the team scale Job Qualifications4+ years' experience as a BI engineer, data analyst, business analyst or statistical analyst analyzing large data sets, drawing insights, and communicating them to stakeholders to influence decision makingIntermediate skills in SQL and Python Experience in ETL development, data warehousing, and AWS solutionsFamiliar with Agile processes, including use of Jira or Azure Dev OpsExcellent written and oral communication skills.Experience building data products incrementally and integrating and managing datasets from multiple sourcesExperience working in a high-tech environment, comfortable navigating conflicting priorities and ambiguous problemsAbility to work on a diverse team or with a diverse range of coworkersApply to Compass Group todayClick here to Learn More about the Compass StoryCompass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
