School Age Child Care (SACC) Program Assistant

The Delaware City Schools School Age Child Care (Pacer SACC) program is seeking program assistants for our high quality before and after school child care for grades K-5. Pacer SACC ensures safe, healthy, fun afterschool environments that foster responsibility and independence while promoting academic, physical and social growth for all DCS students. The Program Assistant is responsible for safety and supervision of children, implementation of day-to-day activities, assistance with design and implementation of curriculum, and engagement, encouragement and positive youth development for all participants.

Applicants must be 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent. Regular program assistants (non-substitute) must be available for both the before and after school program hours. The position is 4 hours per day/20 hours per week and there is the option for year round employment through out summer programs. We offer paid training, sick pay, holiday pay, personal days, retirement, and tuition free care for your child enrolled in Delaware City Schools.

Substitute positions are also available. These positions offer flexible schedules but are not eligible for benefits.
