**Part-time Transportation Specialist**

Franklin Furnace, Ohio Minimum Experience **Entry-level** General Staff Responsibilities : * Reports directly to the Intake/Transportation Coordinator

* Attend trainings to continue professional development

* Assisting in other departments when available

* Ability to use effective approval and disapproval to help build a therapeutic alliance with the new resident intakes.

Intake Department Job Duties:

* Conduct resident transports:

* Initial intake

* Medical

* Resident Discharges

* Perform DNA test if required by checking OH-LEG

* Offender Processing:

* Showers

* Unclothed Searches

* Urinalysis testing

* Paperwork

* Provide Intake Packets

* Complete all intake documents, organize files to ensure all documentation are complete and in the correct order before turning files over to Intake Manager

* Identify new residents who do not have a high school diploma or GED. Provide Resident Services Manager with the names.

* Create resident badge

* Stocking/Re-stocking of Intake Supplies

* Sanitizing /Cleaning duties for intake area

* Clothing/Property searches of intake property

Schedule:

Due to filling demands within the 19 counties we serve, individuals must be willing to work flexible hours to cover sick and vacation days along with prior scheduled appointments.

Miscellaneous Administrative Duties:

* Complete other project/assignments that are appointed

* Will submit leave requests to Intake/Transportation Coordinator within a timely manner

* Would be available to speak with Officers of the Courts

Required Minimum Experience:

* Must have a proven track record of effective problem solving skills.

* Must have strong interest in offender rehabilitation.

* Must be comfortable with various windows based software applications.

* A background in correctional security preferred.

* Must have a valid drivers license.
