Byrne & Jones Ohio currently performs commercial asphalt & concrete installation & repairs. Based out of St. Louis MO, Byrne & Jones Construction is the number one asphalt paving company in the St. Louis metro area. We're also one of the largest builders of athletic fields in the Midwest - football, baseball, soccer, track & tennis - if it's an awesome looking field, court or track, odds are good we built it. Concrete flatwork, structural concrete, soil stabilization & micro-surfacing round out our construction services in the Midwest with divisions in MO, NE & OH.

We self-perform all our pavement work, meaning that if you're hired, you'll play a key role in our building success. Whether it's for a new parking facility, surfacing an existing commercial property or performing repairs, your skills will be a vital part of a team that's devoted to getting the job done right - on time & on budget.

Job Responsibilities

* Assist crew members in executing work, setting grades, lute & shovel material

* Display a professional & courteous attitude to co-workers, customers & public

* Strict adherence to safety requirements & procedures

* Perform other routine duties as directed by Foreman

Qualifications

* Must be able to lift, carry, & place heavy objects

* Ideal candidate will have 2 or more years of experience in the asphalt industry

* Must have reliable transportation

* Insurable driver w/ valid OH drivers license preferred (additional compensation for CDL)

Byrne & Jones Ohio is a nonunion contractor occasionally performing Prevailing Wage work. Typical work includes small to large commercial construction & paving projects.
