Weekend Security Officers

Job description

Part Time Positions - work an 8 hour shift Saturday and Sunday on 2nd shift or Friday and Saturday on 3rd shift

Security Officers .
  • Present a neat and well-groomed appearance.
  • Capable of walking a minimum of 3.5 to 4 miles per day;
  • Able to sit or stand for extended periods of time when required.
  • Able to correctly input information accurately and efficiently into software programs.
  • Able to navigate various software applications and the internet/intranet.
  • Possess a reasonable general working knowledge of computers.
  • Possess excellent written and oral communication skills, including the proper use of grammar, punctuation and spelling.
  • Be willing to work overtime when asked or directed.
  • Patrol the interior/exterior of the property on foot.
  • Monitor and be able to respond to emergencies to include medical, fire and weather-related situations.
  • Render First aid and/or C.P.R. assistance to the extent of the officer's training.
  • Be able to remain awake, alert and attentive while on duty.
  • Possess the ability to handle multiple tasks/priorities alone and often simultaneously.
  • Be able to follow verbal and written directions from client personnel and OSS Supervisory/Management personnel,
  • Control/limit access to the facility at entry points.to include visitor sign in/out logs, issue identification badges, etc.
  • Answer, screen and route phone calls to the appropriate parties.
  • Be courteous, polite and professional in dealing with our customers, and their employees, visitors and vendors.
  • Be able to perform other security related duties as assigned
