As Service Manager, your daily objectives would include:

* Assisting customers to insure complete satisfaction before, during and after their vehicle is in for service

* Help lead our team of 10+/- technicians daily by guiding workflow based on skill level and efficiency needs

* Hiring, performance reviews

* Staying compliant on all repair orders with General Motors warranty policies and procedures and programs

* Creating and implementing new ideas to maximize efficiency in both service repairs and oil change services

* Creating new ways to increase service drive traffic

* Creating new ways to constantly increase customer satisfaction, addressing all concerns

* Manager cashier and ensure compliance on repair orders

* Manage with the Service BDC to maximize daily volume of service appointments

* Manage 3 Service Advisors on their processes and better developing communication and selling skills

* Assist with reconditioning department and customer loaner fleet of vehicles

* Think ahead and learn industry trends

The ideal candidate would have at least 3 years experience as either a Technician, Service Advisor or in Service Department Management or related career field. Preferred but not required. Knowledge of General Motors warranty and authorization procedures is a plus, as is knowledge of CDK as it relates to the service department is helpful but not required.
