- Performs required daily maintenance inspections on park attractions, including but not limited to waterslides and pools.
- Responsible for basic and routine pool cleaning and recording chemical readings, water temperatures, etc. as required by the supervisor.
- Performs basic building, attraction and grounds maintenance including but not limited to plumbing, painting, carpentry, mechanical and preventative maintenance activities related to structures.
- May operate equipment or motorized vehicles (e.g. drills, saws, forklifts, truck, and high lifts) in performance of duties.
- May work with a variety of chemicals.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Posted schedule may be subject to change based on operational needs such as weather condition, guest attendance and department needs.
Qualifications:
- 18 years of age or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Two years related experience preferred.
- Valid drivers license with good driving record.
- Able to operate and maintain mechanical equipment safely.
- Able to perform heavy physical work for extended periods of time.
- Able to climb ladders, work at heights up to 100 feet, and/or in enclosed spaces.
- Able to work in varied weather conditions (i.e. extreme heat, rain.)
- Able to balance multiple assignments successfully.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to provide excellent guest service by positively interacting with guests and upholding the Make it G.R.E.A.T. standards required.
- Able to maintain courteous and helpful behavior towards guests and fellow team members.
- Able to maintain appropriate employee appearance, per the employee handbook.
- Able to work flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings and holidays.
- This position is seasonal and not eligible for overtime pay.
