Nidec Minster Corporation is currently seeking a full-time **Painter - Finish Crating**, working as part of the final assembly department on **FIRST SHIFT, Monday - Friday, with potential for overtime.****Industrial Painter Finish Crater**

**Job Responsibilities:**

* Work safely around large parts

* Maintain housekeeping of work area

* Operate various types of spray painting equipment, applying protective coatings and paints to Minster manufactured machinery and parts

* Operate equipment to clean, wash, strip, sand, remove corrosion, fill dents, or otherwise prepare fabricated steel items for application of paint and or other protective coatings

* Clean and maintain painting and coating, ventilation, compressed air, and personal protective equipment

* Assist Machine Tool Builders in the assembling of Minster equipment as directed

* Operate cranes and assist in the rigging of large pieces of equipment

* Participate in Kaizen activities to facilitate continuous improvement

**Qualifications:**

* High school diploma or GED

* 3-5 years finish painting experience a plus

* Related vocational or technical training, and/or work experience a plus (such as auto body painting)

* Mechanical/electrical skills a plus for this position

* Able to work in a team environment
