**Assembler II** **- $16/hr (2 Openings)**

Lake Shore Cryotronics, Inc., a global leader in the development of high performance tools for the characterization of materials in temperature and magnet environments, has a need for an **Assembler II** to contribute to the ongoing success and expansion of our business. We are an established Westerville-based global leader in temperature and magnetic measurement instrumentation serving science and industry.

The position requires the ability to use a computer, hand solder small components, as well as the inspection and testing of parts and products using small hand tools and microscopes.

The position will perform electrical and mechanical assembly, inspection, and testing of parts and products using small hand tools, microscopes, and soldering. In addition to the assembly of products, our assemblers also do some of their own testing which may include working with liquid helium.

**Qualified candidates will possess the following:**

* A high school diploma or more

* 2+ years assembly and soldering experience or similar experience requiring high dexterity soldering (microscope experience desirable)

* Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity

* A desire to contribute to a collaborative team culture

* Detail orientation

* Ability to use computers
