Allstate Exteriors is a reputable and fast-growing roofing company that specializes in providing high-quality residential and commercial roofing solutions. We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper & Accountant to join our team and support our financial operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in QuickBooks, Bookkeeping, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Account Reconciliations, Excel, Google Sheets, and Job Costing.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and manage financial records, including general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions.
  • Perform monthly account reconciliations for bank statements and credit cards.
  • Manage and track job costing, including allocation of expenses to appropriate projects.
  • Generate and analyze financial reports for management review and decision-making.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial documentation and records.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and requirements.
  • Assist in the preparation of year-end tax filings and liaise with external accountants as needed.
  • Provide support for any financial audits or reviews.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping and accounting, preferably in the construction or roofing industry.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks or QuickBooks Online.
  • Strong understanding of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Account Reconciliations, and Job Costing.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Salary: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
