DESCRIPTION
Otterbein University seeks two or more Adjunct (part-time) Instructors in the Chemistry Department to teach one or more of the following courses in Fall 2024 (August 12 - December 18).
Our Survey of General Chemistry Laboratory is part of our sequence offered primarily for Nursing majors. We offer labs on Thursday from 8:15 - 11:10 am and 11:30 am - 2:25 pm.
Our General Chemistry I course is the first in a two-course sequence for students majoring in science fields. We are looking for someone to teach our Thursday morning section from 8:15 - 11:10 am.
We are also seeking an instructor to teach in our Organic Chemistry I laboratory course, which runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00 - 11:59 am and 12:00 - 4:00 pm.
There is the possibility for these part-time positions to continue into Spring 2025.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum qualifications include an M.A. and/or ABD in Chemistry. Preferred qualifications include previous teaching experience and a Ph.D.
