Director, Project Manager, Career Kickstart AssessmentProduction.About the OpportunityThe Director, Project Manager, Career Kickstart Assessment Productionwill oversee project and process management for assessment authoring andreview for up to 3 Career Kickstart courses, maintaining andcommunicating detailed reporting and status tracking across a number ofinterdependent workstreams. Partnering with Career Kickstart contentteams, external consultant content creators, and various otherstakeholders, the Director, Career Kickstart Assessment Production, willensure that all assessment items are developed to designatedspecifications and on needed timelines.As Director, Project Manager, Career Kickstart Assessment Production,you are an integral member of the cross-functional team building anddelivering Career Kickstart Exams and Instructional resources. You are acollaborative, insightful, and highly-motivated professional, with akeen eye for detail and a passion for educational opportunity. You arenot shy about digging into ambiguity and you are quick to propose moreefficient ways of getting things done.In this role, you will:Project Planning (40%)Develop and maintain detailed item authoring and review schedulesfor all summative and formative assessments for each of the coursesyou manageCollaborate with CB stakeholders (Career Kickstart Assessment, APClassroom, Technology, Digital Delivery) as well as externalpartners to define and implement requirements for Career Kickstartassessment products based on the requirements of the range of CareerKickstart courses, platforms, and formatsPartner with Career Kickstart content teams to build and maintaindetailed assessment item and form specifications, monitoringexisting item inventory and scoping/scheduling assessment productionwork accordinglySupport the recruitment, on-boarding, and continued professionallearning of high-quality independent consultants to serve as contentcreators across all applicable coursesProject Management (40%)Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation of the status of allassessment deliverables under your managementFacilitate multiple levels of internal and external reviews for allCareer Kickstart assessment products and resources, ensuring allfeedback is considered and integratedServe as the representative for assessment production for each ofthe courses you manage to both internal and external audiences,triaging obstacles and escalating roadblocks and delays, as neededLead weekly stand-ups with all relevant Career Kickstart contentteams, providing visibility into and accountability for current workstatus and upcoming de iverablesBudget and track all costs in your purview and recommend efficientstaffing and resourcing solutionsProcess Development and Improvement (20%)Integrate project management tools for your course(s) with processesmanaged by other key stakeholders In the Assessment Production valuechainCollaborate with peers and the broader Assessment Production team todocument and iterate on current project management practicesShare recommendations for process and tool improvements on anongoing basisAbout YouYou Have:Bachelor\'s degree is required5+ years of relevant product and/or project management experience isrequired, preferably in the education industryHigh degree of personal ownership and accountability to consistentlydeliver results in a fast-paced environmentStrong organizational and time management skills with a process-orientedmindsetExcellent interpersonal, collaborative and communication skills;demonstrated ability to establish positive working relationships at alllevels of the organization
