Description

We are looking for an experienced automotive mechanic to service customers that run their cars through the Columbus Fair Auto Auction. Prefer a full-time employee looking for a growth opportunity. You must have at least general knowledge of diagnosing any aspect of a car including electrical, no starts, diagnosing with scanners, programming vehicles, swapping any part, swapping motors, transmissions, differentials. Programming keys and modules.

Need to be able to work independently and get the job done. This position will also allow you the ability to grow and develop your mechanic. Compensation based on skill levels and knowledge. Strong work ethic a must.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Full diagnostic ability using diagnostic equipment to evaluate mechanical problems.
  • Light mechanical work including change tires, oil changes, replacing filters,
  • batteries, alternators, jump start vehicles and other light mechanical work
  • Maintain vehicle records
  • Follow safety protocols
  • Other mechanic and technician duties as assigned


Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to work in a high performance, fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with shop tools, equipment and diagnostic equipment
  • Ability to handle heavy lifting, crawling on the ground, bending repeatedly, stooping, manual dexterity, walking/standing on concrete for long periods of time
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must be 21 + years old
