As Team Leader you will have Private Bankers reporting to you. As Lead Private Banker, you oversee the daily activities of your team and lead sales attracting High Net Worth (HNW) clients to Private Client Solutions. A system incenting internal referrals to Wealth & Asset Management is in place. Additionally, you will be expected to attract new HNW clients from your existing in-market contacts. As Lead Private Banker, you will act as Relationship Manager to your HNW clients working with the more complex accounts and have reasonable new business goals. Investment support and trust administration is provided. Though the focus is on attracting High HNW clients, Retirement Plan Services and Investment Management are also offered to commercial clients. .: See It, Own It, Solve It *and* Find a Way to Say Yes. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Possesses and displays a positive attitude in managing change, working and communicating with others and adhering to policies, procedures and customer service standards.

May be encouraged to pass state insurance exam (s) in order to obtain appropriate license(s) for the purpose of offering and selling insurance related products and achieve and maintain established sales goals

* Actively promotes and refers corporation products and services as stated in the Corporation's sales definition:

* Discover customer needs

* Develop solutions and

* Implement plans to exceed customer goals and expectations

* Corresponds with or interviews applicant or creditors to resolve questions regarding application information.

* Compiles loan package and facilitates negotiation of loan structure with applicant including fees, loan repayment options, and other credit terms.

* Approves loan within specified limits or refers loan to appropriate approval authority.

* Ensures loan agreements are complete and accurate according to policy.

* Assures timely loan closing and funding activities.

* Advises management of external factors that may affect established lending policies, such as revised legislations and regulations. Recommends and implements appropriate changes to policies and procedures.

* Works with loan accounts to monitor financial progress and/or risks and to ensure prompt and timely repayment of loan requests granted.

* Supervises the Private Banking Team.

* Establishes and strives to achieve annual Private Banking division/branch plan.

* Responds to customer inquiries; manages customer complaints and/or resolves customer problems.

* Complies with and endorses branch security procedures.

* Seeks new quality deposit accounts and Wealth Management referrals in accordance with established policies and procedures.

* Proudly represents the corporation and become actively involved in the community in which he/she resides and works to promote goodwill and to generate new business.

* Successfully completes assigned e-learning courses.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

* 4-year degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

* Minimum of 5 years experience in banking, financial services, or a related field required. 7+ years experience in banking, financial services, or a related preferred.

* Prior credit training and lending experience required.

* Prior sales experience required.

* Prior team management, team leadership, or supervisory experience required; preferred, in a sales or related setting.
