Java Architect/Engineer - Telecom

Work Location: Should be able to travel 40% for meetings in Cleveland, OH

We are seeking an accomplished technology professional with experience in developing Java software solutions that complement, customize, or extend Oracle Communications or telecom products.

What you've done:

• 7+ years of experience in the telecommunications industry developing Java software solutions that complement, customize, or extend Oracle Communications or telecom products.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in Java application development, Architecture, and Design
• 10+ years of experience integrating with third-party applications using Java and REST, XML, SNMP, and SMTP.
• 10+ years of experience with REST API development, microservices, and integration
• 7+ years of scripting experience with shell scripts, Python, Oracle Linux/RedHat.
• 8+ years of experience doing whiteboard presentations to customers and consulting roles

It would be great if you also had:

• Experience with communication products (SBC, ECB, EOM) is a major asset.
• Knowledge of Oracle Communications Converged Application Server (OCCAS) is a major asset.
• Experience deploying applications on Oracle WebLogic and configuring Oracle Coherence.
• Understanding of the SIP protocol and related RFC.
• Experience with orchestration software such as Kubernetes and cloud-native workloads.
