Structural Fabricator20.00-25.00 per hour!!!!Job Overview:Candidates will be serving as a Structural Fabricator in a shop setting on structural steel.Candidate will be performing MIG welding on structural steel.As a Structural Fabricator, employees are operating machinery such as shear machines, press, brakes, and overhead cranes.Employees will be splitting time with welding and fabricating.Job Responsibilities:Selecting, measuring, cutting, and joining steel metals to specifications.Interpreting specifications and blueprints accurately.Performing machine operation to perform fabrication process.Performing layouts and blueprint reading for projectsTesting the strength of each join during and after project completion.Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalentAny schooling related to Welding or Fabrication is great but not requiredOver a year of experience in a Welder or Fabricator position.2 years of experience with Fabrication and MIG WeldingSound understanding of welding safetyWillingness to be welding certified through companyAbility to read and interpret blueprints accuratelyAbility to read a tape measure accuratelyEnvironment:1st shift8 hour shiftsWelding GearSteel toe boots, jeans/work pantsManufacturing FacilityBenefits & Perks:Medical/Vision/Dental insuranceHealth Savings/Reimbursement20.00-25.00 per hourCareer advancementPromote within cultureAbout Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
