Managing the office at an Aspire site(s), which includes, but is not limited to, clerical duties, proctoring assessments, and assisting instructors. Reports to the EGCC ASPIRE director. Must be knowledgeable of High School Equivalency Practice and Official Test material, dates, locations, and application process. Must be knowledgeable of High School Equivalency testing accommodations, and able to guide students in how to apply for testing accommodations. Teach adults who are studying to improve academic skills to earn a High School Equivalency Diploma, or before entering a career program or college. Subjects taught: Basic mathematics up to and including algebra and geometry, Language arts from basic literacy to twelfth grade level. Ability to teach social studies and/or science content is a plus. Eastern Gateway Community College is accepting applications for a Bridge Instructor. The Coordinator of Testing and Tutoring provides strategic oversight for the coordination of student success services. Duties associated with this position include a specific focus on the support and retention of students with tutoring and testing needs. The coordinator will ensure that students with placement and entrance testing needs will be scheduled in a timely manner. Tutoring support will also be provided, and the coordinator will be responsible for scheduling tutoring both remotely and on both campus.
