We are looking for a leader with experience developing and leading platform/product visions and mobilizing teams to achieve great outcomes. This is a critical role for our organization with large scope, complexity, and global visibility and impact. As the Director of Product, you will lead a team of Product Managers, collaborate with cross-functional partners, be curious and present in the external market, and interact regularly with our diverse customer base to ensure the customer voice is core to key decisions and product direction.We value our employees with competitive benefit and generous paid time off packages, flexible and casual work environments, career development, recognition programs and more!This role is a hybrid (if near Pittsburgh, PA or Columbus, OH) or remote opportunity, depending on candidate location.Opportunity for up to 20% travel, including international travel to APAC and EMEA.As Director of Product you will:Lead Product Strategy and Planning:* Lead product design, development, and release process for assigned products and shape the product development roadmap* Drive product releases based on the needs of customers and the business while identifying dependencies, tradeoffs and priorities to achieve optimal outcomes* Serve as a primary product expert and evangelist* Assist with planning, creation, and delivery of new value via new products and services into current and new markets, as well as new and streamlined business processes.* Manage and review enhancement requests and customer feedback to identify and prioritize the product roadmap* Execute go to market readiness across the business for new product launches to help ensure success in delivering outcomesInvest in Competitive, Customer and Market Intelligence:* Identify and monitor competitive offerings and provide analysis of their positioning, strengths, and weaknesses* Analyze potential partner relationships for our products to further extend our capabilities* Drive voice-of-customer research to identify new products and continually feed product pipeline, including soliciting customers, sales, professional services, and other team members for feedback* Review customer research, expert opinions, and findings of industry data, and provide recommendations based on researchBuild and Lead High Performing Teams:* Set a high standard for teamwork and results and is gets individuals and teams to perform at a high level and embrace change* Establish a team culture of collaboration, proactive communication, knowledge sharing, problem-solving and efficiency* Build a culture of innovation while keeping the team focused on the most important priorities and outcomes that drive the business* Inspire others, build motivated, high-performing teams, and understand what motivates different people* Maintain transparent communication; communicate organization information through department meetings, one-to-one meetings, etc* Perform regular 1:1 status, performance reviews, directs goal setting and provides ongoing coaching and feedback to support direct reports in role and personal development* Communicate and represent the strategy, capabilities and future directions to internal and external audiences such as the sales force, business partners and customersRequirements for Success as Director of Product:* 10+ years of leadership experience required in a technology-based service organization* 5+ years of experience managing the development and launch of software products or services in a product management or equivalent role* Demonstrated Product Leadership in a SaaS, Cloud environment* Proficiency in agile practices and ceremonies* Excellent communication, influence skills* Experience in supply chain processes (B2BB2C), ERP structures, and functionalities* Proven experience in complex problem solving* Bachelor's Degree in Business or a technical field requiredWho is TrueCommerce?TrueCommerce is a high-performing global supply chain network that provides fully integrated, end-to-end supply chain visibility and management.
