U.S. Silica is a global performance materials company and a leading producer of commercial silica used in a wide range of industrial applications and in the oil and gas industry. U.S. Silicas wholly owned subsidiaries include EP Minerals and SandBox Logistics. EP Minerals is an industry leader in the production of products derived from diatomaceous earth, perlite, engineered clays, and non-activated clays. SandBox Logistics is a state-of-the-art leader in proppant storage, handling and well-site delivery, dedicated to making proppant logistics cleaner, safer and more efficient.

During our 121-year history, we have developed core competencies in mining, processing, logistics and materials science that enable us to produce and cost-effectively deliver over 400 diversified product types to customers across our end markets. As of December 31, 2020, we operated 23 production facilities across the United States. We control 489 million tons of reserves of commercial silica, which can be processed to make 197 million tons of finished products that meet American Petroleum Institute ("API") frac sand specifications, and 79 million tons of reserves of diatomaceous earth, perlite, and clays.

The Company is headquartered in Katy, Texas, and has an office located in Reno, Nevada.

A District Manager must possess a core belief that Safety is the foundation of their operation(s). District manager is in charge of districts day-to-day operations and will carry out company policies and guidelines. This position will act as the key link between the headquarters and assigned district branches to ensure these branches stay up to date with company policies and focus on increasing sales and building productive customers relations. District Manager will also be in charge of the operational and recruitment practices of their assigned branches.

**Essential Job Functions:**

* Responsible for District Profit and Loss Statement.

* Continual focus on cost efficiencies.

* Assists with budgeting for the district and costs associated with multiple departments.

* Continuously drive CORE4 Senior Managements safety leadership culture and initiatives within their District.

* In charge of districts day-to-day operations and carry out company policies and guidelines.

* Interview, hire, coordinate and discipline all branch/location managers. Review and communicate manager turnover to the corporate office and Operations Manager.

* Ensure that each branch is adequately staffed, runs smoothly and meets all budget and sales goals.

* Coordinate with, report and make recommendations to senior management in order to grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth.

* Attend meetings and act as a liaison between the headquarters and the area branches by making regular visits and interacting with management.

* Create and update driver schedules and interface with customers to forecast work schedule.

* Disseminate upcoming work to field operators and dispatch team.

* Be the first contact for new hires - Schedule orientation, working hours and update the Operations team of the same.

* Facilitate supply management, supply room inventory and stocking.

* Responsible for payroll management and final approval of hourly employees time sheets.

* In charge of approving appropriate disciplinary actions and conduct terminations.

* Hire, train, and schedule all yard personnel. Also responsible for daily review of the yard and shop.

* Share OB/DEMOB schedule with operations and dispatch team.

* Manage facility cleanliness and yard maintenance.

* Manage 3rd Parties (Outside Carriers). Find, train, communicate and conduct orientation for the selected carriers.

* Assist and oversee safety training and responsible for daily incident reporting.

* Schedule routine equipment maintenance, repairs and service.

* Assist in mileage tracking.

* Check in/out all equipment between 6 AM and 6 PM Monday through Friday, and as needed on Saturday and Sunday.

* Conduct daily Job Safety Analysis with day drivers.

* Ensure collection of Company provided Personal Protective Equipment upon termination of any day employee.

* Run a transparent business and keep all employees in the loop of upcoming work and possible delays and changes.

* Additional duties as assigned.

**Experience, Knowledge and Skills:**

* High School Diploma Required.

* Bachelor's Degree Preferred.

* 5+ years of experience in operations management.

* Strong leadership and decision-making skills.

* Entrepreneurial mindset and clear thinking.

* Business development and strategy implementation knowledge.

* Ability to sell, manage and drive growth.

* Analytical and communication skills.

* Excellent customer relationship management skills.
