Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC/R Service Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems, with the ability to diagnose and repair a variety of HVAC/R equipment. The HVAC/R Service Technician will play a crucial role in continuing our legacy of providing high-quality service to our clients and ensuring the efficient operation of their systems.

Responsibilities:

• Perform Maintenance and Repairs: Conduct inspections, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of HVAC/R systems, including heating systems, air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems.
• Diagnose Issues: Identify and troubleshoot malfunctions in HVAC/R systems, using knowledge of the equipment and testing tools to pinpoint the root cause of problems.
• Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to explain issues, provide recommendations, and discuss service options. Maintain a professional and customer-focused demeanor.
• Record-Keeping: Document all service and maintenance activities through Service Fusion, including detailed records of work performed, parts used, and any additional recommendations for clients.
• Adherence to Safety Standards: Follow established safety protocols and guidelines while working on HVAC/R systems. Ensure the use of proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in HVAC/R systems through training and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an HVAC/R Service Technician.
• Valid HVAC/R certification.
• Knowledge of HVAC/R codes and regulations
• Proficient knowledge of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to participate in the emergency on-call rotation that includes nights and weekends.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Must have EPA certification (Type II, III, or universal)

Salary: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
