An outstanding company known for their culture and upward development is seeking a high level Director of Logistics for their growing Warehouse and Assembly facility in Union, OH. The Director of Logistics will lead and ensure the plant is manufacturing and distributing Legrand products in a timely, safe, and efficient manner to meet customer expectations. The Director of Logistics will have a continuous improvement mindset to drive goal attainment with operational needs, employee engagement, and financial metrics.Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Logistic, Business, Finance, Engineering or Supply Chain is requiredMBA is highly desirable10+ years of distribution or logistics experience with a minimum of 5 years of managing other managers and supervisors.3+ years of demonstrated excellent leadership and project management experience.Experience with design and layout of distribution facilities and best-in-class operationsKnowledge of LEAN operating principles, Continuous improvement in a leadership roleProven ability to measure and perform against internal and external industry standardsExperienced change agent possessing the strategic, analytical, and teamwork skills needed to drive major commercial decisions across a diverse set of stakeholders.

Main Job Duties:

Organization: Organizational Leader competency model

Main Interface: Warehouse and manufacturing personnel, contract labor vendors, site leaders, sales leaders, customer service and purchasing teams, and carrier contacts. Reports to Sr. Director of Logistics.

Budget: Direct management of $20M+ budget.
