**EGC Construction is looking for both experienced professionals and individuals who are looking to begin their construction career to join our team!**

EGC employs more than 120 skilled craft workers that focus on safety, quality and customer satisfaction. We offer general, commercial and industrial construction including electrical work, millwrights, pipe fitters and structural steel detailers.

We are currently seeking a pipe laborer for the Process/Utility Piping Systems in the Food and Beverage and Pharmaceutical Industries.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

* Provides labor work needed for a specific jobsite in a positive, efficient and timely manner

* Cleans and prepares sites for projects

* Focuses on safety and safety practices first and foremost during all tasks assigned

* Willingness to learn the piping trade and jump in and assist when needed

* Attends meetings and prepares all necessary daily documentation

* Performs other related duties as assigned

Experience Required:

* Familiar with basic tools

* OSHA 10 Certified

* Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers

* Proficient math skills

* Excellent organizational and time management skills

* The knowledge of reading a tape measuring device

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Candidates must have transportation and good communication skills

* Be willing to work within a 50-mile radius. Willingness to travel to other states for work is a plus!

* Be able to work in a variety of seasonal and weather conditions

Abilities:

* Possess all auditory, speaking and communicating capabilities

* Honest, reliable, dependable and display good character

* Physical requirements: standing, walking, bending, twisting, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 40lbs., seeing and reading
