Do you love immigration court but are either sick of collecting client payments or don't want to start? Have you handled at least ten I-589 IHs and at least two 42B IHs? Do you wish you could always go above and beyond, doing everything ethically possible to win your clients' cases? Hablas espa ol? If so, we're looking for you! Our firm is hiring an associate attorney primarily responsible for removal defense cases in Charlotte, NC. This position will also handle some cases in other courts, as well as some family-based and humanitarian cases. Can be PT or FT. Responsibilities: Prepare clients and witnesses for their cases in immigration court. Attend USCIS interviews. Have appointments with clients where you listen more than talk. Continually improve your legal knowledge and stay abreast of relevant law and policy changes. Communicate with other attorneys at the firm (and elsewhere) in a spirit of camaraderie and generosity, eager to both learn from and teach others. Qualifications: Experience in Immigration Court. Fluent in Spanish. Kind, compassionate, and friendly demeanor with clients while being honest about their cases. Creative go-getter who will zealously advocate until the client says "stop." Compensation: $80,000 - $120,000
