Supply Chain Specialist Company:Rieke LLCPrimary Location:8200 Innovation Campus Way West, New Albany, OH 43054 USAEmployment Type: Hourly | Full-TimeFunction:Material Control / LogisticsEqual Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled Main Duties & ResponsibilitiesThe Supply Chain Specialist supports customerservice and delivery activities by coordinating activities associated withshipping, receiving, storage of goods, and inventory control. The Supply ChainSpecialist will focus on supply chain coordination. The Supply Chain Specialistrole requires a high level of organization, time management and attention todetail to ensure that customer orders are prepared and shipped accurately andon time.Primary Duties andResponsibilities:Acts askey point of contact for Customer Service for New Albany and USDispensing Customer Accounts as assigned.Responds timely to all team memberrequests for information, paperwork, status updates and other informationto ensure appropriate response times to customers.Ensurescustomer orders, color matching and ASN's, Invoices are entered in portalas required by assigned and on time. Overseesthe activities of shipping, receiving, and inventory control for RiekeNew Albany and US Dispensing.Developand monitor key performance indicators (KPI's) throughout shipping,receiving, warehousing and inventory control. Responsible to ensureexpectations consistently meet or exceed KPI's.Analyzesinventory levels, ensuring that changes in inventory are promptly andaccurately recorded in the ERP system. Investigates inventorydiscrepancies to get the source of the issue and resolve it. Developsand implements plans for improving efficiency in operations such asshipping, inventory management and material handling.Coordinatesall aspects of the shipping process to include selecting carriers,arranging pick up times, tracking shipments, and ensuring delivery ismade on time.Ensuresall shipments are handled in accordance with company policies andprocedures to reduce risk of damage or theft.Coordinateswith other departments to schedule deliveries and pickups in accordancewith customer requirements.Analyzesdata from shipping operations to identify opportunities for improvement.Responsiblefor ensuring cycle counts are completed in accordance with companypolicy.Maintainsa "visual workplace" - using production boards, equipment status boards,etc.Immediatelyaddresses and/or resolves off-schedule situations, lost time andperformance targets that are off-standard.Communicatesopportunities for improvement to Engineering and/or Management.Performsother duties as assigned by the ManagerQualifications3-5 years of experience in supply chain, distribution or warehouse environment.Proven experience in a team environment, with a highlevel of urgency.Excellent English verbal and written communicationskills.Computer skills (ERP, Microsoft Office Outlook, Word,Excel)Lean or Six Sigma qualification is preferred
