As a Cash Applications Specialist, you will process high volumes of transactions and remittances, scanning, invoicing, and reconciling items from potentially disparate pieces of the company's financial interests.

Additional responsibilities of the Cash Applications Specialist include:

• Process incoming payments from customers using various payment methods including checks, electronic transfers, credit cards, and cash
• Accurately apply payments to customer accounts in the accounting system and ensure proper allocation of funds
• Reconcile daily cash receipts to ensure accuracy and completeness of transactions
• Collaborate with Accounts Receivable team to identify and resolve payment discrepancies, billing issues, or customer inquiries
• Assist with month-end close activities related to cash applications and accounts receivable
