Essential Job Functions:

• Regular, reliable attendance necessary
  
• Assists with loading, transporting and unloading of all students on the assigned bus
• Assists students with special transportation needs such as wheelchairs, braces, crutches, etc.
• Assists with the security of students on school buses and observes the special needs of individuals
• Assists the driver in maintaining adequate discipline
• Ensures seatbelt use
• Assists with maintaining cleanliness inside the bus
• Performs related tasks as required.
• Maintain accurate Student Ridership Records
• Reports any incidents, and accidents on the school bus
• Mandatory monthly safety meetings
• Student check after every time bus is believed to be empty or leaving the bus
  

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or GED and some experience in working with children, or equivalent combination of
education and experience.

• Two or more years of experience working with children (preferred)
  

Special Requirements:

The following pre-employment screenings must be successfully completed with satisfactory results for this
position:

• Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
• Tuberculosis (TB) Test
• Criminal Background and Fingerprinting
  

All Aides are subject to Annual Random Drug & Alcohol Testing
