Customer Service Representative - Warehouse

Job Summary

Works under supervision. The Customer Service Representative responds to inbound inquiries from hospital staff for replenishment of supplies. Ensures that units are charged appropriately for the supplies as well as reverse charges for overstock or expired items.

Experience and Education

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Valid Texas driver's license required.

Previous experience in hospital or distribution preferred.

Job Duties

Provide excellent customer service to hospital staff utilizing product knowledge and resources.

Ensure that excess product is credited to the correct unit. Communicate product changes, stock outs and backorders to staff.

Fill supply orders and distribute supplies throughout the hospital.

Replenish returned supplies to correct bin locations, which are properly labeled, in the warehouse, rotate stock and check expiration dates.

Practice inventory control by assuring all items leaving or returning to the department are properly expensed or credited.

Provide professional, timely and accurate responses to requests made via phone calls, customer service window and email.

Perform the following functions proficiently: check requisitions, pick supplies (VLM, BMSYS AND Horizontal) and warehouse support.

Participate in inventory physical count, when scheduled, assuring accuracy.

Performs other duties as assigned.
