Our caseload includes everything from wellness exams to internal medicine, specialty services to emergency and critical care. We pride ourselves on being a "one-stop-shop" for all your pets' needs and are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

This is an **entry-level** position, which is a great way to get your foot in the door. Your primary duties will include : assisting the Doctors and treatment staff with the restraint of animals during procedures and appointments, walking, feeding, and watering animals animal husbandry such as cleaning cages running laboratory samples as needed and more **We are not like other veterinary hospitals!** We maintain a culture of respect, dignity, professionalism, and empathy for each other, our clients, and of course, our patients. It is integral that our entire hospital team works cohesively and that the atmosphere remains positive and productive, especially in such an emotionally challenging profession! The caseload is so diverse, that we can guarantee you will never get bored. We offer alternative scheduling (4-day workweek!)

South Bay Animal Hospital & Pet Resort participates in alternative work scheduling providing 4 shifts of 10 hours and three days off a week to full-time employees!! ***Emergency Shift times vary and can be scheduled as early as 1pm (i.e. 1300-2400) and can be scheduled to end as late as 4am (i.e. 1700-0400).*** ***This position requires some weekends and holiday shifts.***
