The Lead Campground Attendant assists the RV Park/ Kennel Manager and/or Supervisor with day to day operations, while providing excellent guest service positive leadership, training and support to staff members. This is a full time year round position located amid the beauty of Williams in the Northern Arizona mountains.
**Responsibilities**
Responsibilities:
* Demonstrates positive communication and excellent guest service standards.
* Direct the selling of RV sites/kennels with special attention to up selling whenever possible.
* Assist assigned Guest Service Agents in resolving discrepancies and balancing; report outstanding discrepancies to
* Manager; approve adjustments and paid outs following established guidelines; follow-up on all open folios for individuals & groups, balancing and checking out in a timely manner. Follow up with direct reports when needed.
* Assist in the training and supervision of incoming Guest service Agents; constantly monitor their performance and appearance, report to Manager on Duty as necessary.
* Monitor the flow of information from shift to shift and day to day through the use of verbal communication, shift reports and desk diary. Keep Management/Department Head aware of all situations using email, verbal or phone communication, depending on circumstances.
* Be aware of product locations, sizes, prices and other information which will assist the customers
* Quickly and efficiently, perform the guest check ins for the RV Park and pet kennel including making reservations, building train packages, and making adjustments in the reservation system, collect payments, organize arrivals and departures, etc.
* Accountable for recording proper information regarding care of pets (feeding, medicating, walking etc.) and for receiving proper records.
* Opening and closing of 28 dog kennels and 16 cat kennels (cleaning, mopping, raking, disposing of feces, laundry, securing. etc.)
* Assist with daily job duties of cleaning, dusting and stocking of shelves, dusting and mopping floors, cleaning restrooms, etc.
* Responsible for the security of the store and kennel when closing. This position may be responsible for performing closing duties during the evening or nights by themselves and/or opening by themselves.
* Other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Qualifications:**
* A valid Arizona Drivers License and ability to comply with Xanterra/GCR vehicle policy.
* Basic knowledge of computer system; previous experience with cash register/cash handling and guest service
* High level of communication and interpersonal skills.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Previous experience as a Guest Service Agent or Hotel Front Desk.
* Previous computer experience including cash register/cash handling.
