Job Summary

The Pet Play Specialist is responsible for caring for the pets with compassion. The duties include playing with the pets and completing necessary charting.

Job Responsibilities

• Handle pets, both dogs and cats


• Read Kennel Cards


• Interact with pets such as running, throwing toys, petting (love), and games


• Charting eliminations and report cards


• Minor cleaning after play time


• Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

• Ability to lead large groups of employees


• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment


• Ability to multi-task


• Attention to detail and ability to observe animal behaviors daily


• Operate basic computer software


• Flexible schedule including nights/weekend/holidays


• Previous animal care experience preferred


• Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds


• Ability to stand up to 8 hours

Pay Rate - $10.10 to 12.00 (hourly)
