Manager, Ticket Services

Job description

Summary:The Manager, Ticket Services will be responsible for the ticket operations and management of specifically assigned concerts and family shows at the Wells Fargo Center. This position will serve as the main point of contact between promoter and the Wells Fargo Center on appointed events.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide initial venue-specific information to promoters such as venue specs and requirements, scalings and financials.
  • Work with Director, Ticket Operations on submitting events to Ticketmaster for programming; manage all inventory requirements, special offers and programs on behalf of venue and promoter.
  • Function as liaison with ticket provider (Ticketmaster) to maintain event programming, promotional offers and best practices.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with show promoters, tour management, & building staff to facilitate all ticketing requirements.
  • Oversee box office operations during assigned events.
  • Manage financial reconciliation for event settlements as well as assist in day-to-day event reporting.
  • Assist in processing ticket requests from various entities.
  • Maintain a positive team environment within the department.
  • Represent the department at weekly company management meetings and other meetings as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years working in ticket operations; prior background with established relationships with event promoters (such as Live Nation, AEG, etc.) preferred
  • Proficiency in Ticketmaster ticketing software (Host & Archtics) required
  • Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in the English language required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, and ability to learn all required business systems
  • Ability to work beyond normal business hours, including nights, weekends and holidays as required
