Description

The Greenkeeper 2 position is responsible for daily maintenance activities and special projects. A Greenkeeper 2 is expected to work alone or in groups and take a lead role in the grounds staff to help mentor newer staff. All employees should be punctual, good communication skills, have a good attitude, a strong work ethic and enjoy a team atmosphere.

Duties

• Attention to details
• Clean areas of the golf course, club grounds and facilities
• Communicate and assist Assistant Superintendent with daily responsibilities
• Operate heavy equipment and can mow all areas of the course accordingly.
• Perform all daily maintenance activities.

Requirements

Job Qualifications

• Ability to effectively communicate
• At least 1 year of golf course maintenance experience
• Knowledge of and/or ability to play the game of golf and understand how job performance affects the playing conditions of the golf course
