Description:

The Coalition to Save Our Mental Health Centers seeks motivated, responsible, students 18 years and older to work in the Near Southwest Side (including the community areas of South Lawndale, Lower West Side, Mckinley Park, Bridgeport, and Armour Square) and Englewood/Greater-Chatham (including the community areas of Avalon Park, Chatham, Greater Grand Crossing, Auburn Gresham, Englewood, and West Englewood) this summer to help create a two new Expanded Mental Health Services Programs. You will be part of a team each day working to educate residents and collect signatures to increase mental health services in the community. Excellent training and supervision provided!

Qualifications

  • Must be over the age of 18
  • Must be passionate about mental health!


Compensation

  • $17/hr


Length

  • 8 weeks
  • June 10th - August 2nd


Hours

  • 20 hrs/week
