Part Time Weekend Center Associate

The UPS Store is a family-owned business looking to add a part-time weekend associate to our growing team. A Center Associate delivers world-class customer service through mail and package receiving general print services, packing, and of course, shipping. The UPS Store offers flexible hours and opportunities such as sales bonus programs, becoming a notary, executing advanced print services, becoming a certified packing expert, and more!

The ideal candidate must be available on weekends, with additional shifts throughout the week also be available, if desired. Other desired traits are, previous retail sales experience, friendly and helpful demeanor, enjoyment of a fast-paced environment, solution oriented, and is self-directed when accomplishing tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serves walk-in customers, online, and telephone inquiries.
• Advise our valued customers on our array of products, services, and best-value options.
• Takes ownership of the customer's needs and offers viable solutions.
• Operates all equipment, software, and devices in an efficient and accurate manner.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED
• Excellent verbal skills
• Ability to complete general math and grammatical functions
• Prompt, reliable, and responsible
• Able to lift 40+ pounds
• Willing and able to work 15-20 hours on weekends
• Be notary eligible (felony free and have a Texas ID)
• Be able to adapt and problem solve

COMPENSATION

• $13.00 - $14.00 per hour, based on experience
• Clear path provided to earn an additional $1.50/ hour within 90 days
