Operation Team Leader

Title: Operation Team Leader Our Fitting Lab in Henderson is looking for an experienced Optical Fitting Team Leader. The Optical Fitting lab is responsible for the edging and fitting of optical lenses into frames, and preparing quality glasses for our customers across independent optometry in New Zealand.

With prior experience leading an optical fitting lab, you will be responsible for coordinating and leading the day to day activities of the Fitting team at our Henderson lab. This role does require some hands-on technical work, so qualifications as an Optical Mechanic or equivalent experience in Optical Fitting is highly desired.

Our ideal candidate will:

* possess strong interpersonal and leadership skills and have prior leadership experience in a production setting

* have demonstrated experience in maximising production efficiencies through continuous improvement, efficient labour utilisation and controls

* have strong planning and organisation skills

* be an excellent communicator in both written and verbal forms

* be able to demonstrate the required level of computer literacy to deliver metrics & reporting, respond to emails etc

* have a strong focus on delivering a quality product to customer satisfaction
