Medical Scheduler

Pride Health is hiring a Central Scheduler to support our client's healthcare system in Illinois (Position is remote, however candidate WILL be expected to be onsite for orientation). This is a 3-month contract opportunity with possible extension.

Duties:

Ensures prompt, courteous service to patients, physicians, physician office staff and participating hospital departments by providing accurate and expedient scheduling.

Accurately collects, analyses and records demographic, insurance/financial and clinical data from multiple sources, and obtains other information for scheduling and registration.

Interview patient to accurately determine scheduling needs.

Coordinate the scheduling of appointments for all outpatient diagnostic testing and procedures for the Hospital to best meet the patient and department needs.

Promote a positive customer focused image for the organization by responding to the appointment needs of patients and providers utilizing excellent communication skills.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED, required.

2 years healthcare customer service, patient service, administrative experience required.

Details:

Location: Illinios (Position is remote, however candidate WILL be expected to be onsite for orientation)

Job Type: 3-month contract role, with possible extension

Schedule: Monday-Friday (40 hrs./week) 7 am start time

Pay Range: $21-23.00/hr.
