The Pharmacy Delivery Dispatch Lead is responsible for coordinating deliveries of medication or other items to Empath Health patients via pharmacy drivers, hospice volunteers or contracted courier services. The lead manages a fast-paced operations environment in which the incumbent will take and respond to phone calls as well as manage computer programs and systems.

Position Requirements

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Good working knowledge of Pinellas County streets.

Proven customer service skills.

Two (2) years of delivery or logistics experience.

Excellent computer skills (typing, web-based systems, Microsoft Office).

Good communication and organization skills

Ability to direct the work of the other employees effectively

Licensure: Valid Florida drivers license and driving record that qualifies as acceptable as per insurance requirements.

Must provide proof of valid automobile insurance, a copy of which will be placed in the employees HR file.
