Staffing Screener
Job description
Position Summary:
This position will require excellent direct and indirect customer service skills. Successful staffing screeners are great at reading individuals, organized, and very detailed. They are good communicators, keeping applicants and coworkers informed on the status of applicants and issues. The screener will interview each candidate to ensure they are qualified and a good fit for the job they are applying for.
Primary Duties:
* Screen and interview candidates presentingu the best talent to hiring managers in a high volume, fast-paced environment.
* Extend job opportunities and see candidates through to the project onboarding process.
* Identify workflow process improvements, structure, and systems to realign them with operational goals in all craft processes.
* Collect and review application and documentation required for hire.
* Verify applicants' employment eligibility with the company.
* Schedule applicants for required training, drug screening, and backgrounds.
* Communicate with applicants, co-workers, and job sites the current hiring status.
* Collect and send out reports as required.
* Computer literacy.
* Intermediate skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
* Great organizational skills.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
* Great interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and effectively meet deadlines.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
* Computer literacy.
* Intermediate skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel.
* Great organizational skills.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
* Great interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
* Abilitytomanagemultiple tasks and effectively meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working with craft professionals (Painters, Insulators, & Scaffolding, etc.) in the construction industry preferred.
