This job was posted by : For more information, please see: Functions:Positions and aligns subassemblies in jigs or fixtures, using measuring instruments, such as protractors and dividers, following blueprint station lines and index pointsTrims and files parts to fit, and verifies fitting tolerances, using measuring instruments, such as gauges and calipersDrills, reams, and countersinks holes in subassemblies, and bolts, rivets, or otherwise fastens subassemblies into structural assembly, using hand tools and power toolsInstalls parts and components, such as incidental plumbing, electrical, rigging, or other functional items, in main structure, using hand tools and power tools. May specialize in assembling and installing parts, structural components, and subassemblies to build wing assembliesLocates holes to be drilled in structural assembly for installation of parts and components, using jigs, templates, and measuring instruments.Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit and Harlow Aerostructures LLCSkills Required:Ability to read blue prints and tech manualsExcellent attendance recordAbility to lift, squat and bend with up to 50 poundsEducation and Experience Required:High School diploma or equivalentSheet Metal Assembly experience, preferredExperience in bushing & bearing installation, use of liquid nitrogen, and installation of all types of fasteners such as solid rivets & blind fasteners, preferredIt is the policy of Harlow Aerostructures LLC to provide equal employment opportunity to all employees and applicants.
