Production/Factory Service-Industry Assembler

Duration: 05 + months contract

Work Schedule: 8:30 AM -5:00 PM (Sat, Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed)

Job Description:

• Our team at Client is working with researchers, communities, and government agencies around the world to develop new ways to control insect that can spread disease, and help people live longer, healthier lives.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain automated rearing, sorting, and packing systems.
• A production/factory environment.
• Operate and maintain automated rearing, sorting, and packing systems.
• Flag issues and provide feedback for hardware improvements.
• Assemble parts for automated rearing systems.
• Aid in testing of new automated rearing systems .
• Availability to work weekends and/or shifts as required.

Mandatory Skills:

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a team in a fast-paced environment with changing demands.
• Demonstrated ability to be timely and reliable.
• Ability to perform routine tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communications skills.
• Standing/walking a lot throughout the day is a requirement for this particular role.

Desired

• Experience in automation, operations, production, or related field.
• Experience with operating industrial equipment.
• Experience working in a biotech setting/laboratory.
• Experience working in the service/restaurant industry is a plus.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent
