Job description

As a Metal Finisher specializing in stainless steel, you will be responsible for preparing, finishing, and polishing stainless steel components according to project specifications and quality standards. Your primary duties and responsibilities will include:

- Prepare stainless steel surfaces for finishing by sanding, grinding, or cleaning to remove imperfections, rust, or contaminants.
- Apply primers, paints, or protective coatings to stainless steel components using spray guns, brushes, or rollers, ensuring even coverage and adherence to project requirements.
- Perform grinding and polishing operations on stainless steel surfaces to achieve desired finishes, including brushed, satin, or mirror finishes, while maintaining dimensional accuracy and surface integrity.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Proven experience as a Metal Finisher with a focus on stainless steel materials.
  • Proficiency in sanding, painting, grinding, and polishing techniques for stainless steel surfaces.
  • Familiarity with various finishing tools and equipment, such as sanders, grinders, polishers, and spray guns.
  • Attention to detail and ability to achieve consistent, high-quality finishes.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members and supervisors.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional vocational or technical training in metal finishing preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 experience in metal finishing, with a focus on stainless steel materials.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or industry preferred.
Schedule: Monday to Friday 6:30 am to 2:30 pm
