***ADDA is partnering with Colorado Industrial Recycling to add an experienced and dependable Associate Welder to the COIR team***

Responsibilities and Activities:

Fabricate, refurbish, and repair roll-off containers

Perform structural repairs on heavy mobile and yard equipment

Fabricate structural items for facility modifications throughout the yard

Prep and paint containers

Help organize supplies

Perform housekeeping and shop upkeep

Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Required Competencies:

Foundational understanding of welding and fabrication, including blueprinting and troubleshooting

Ability to utilize hand grinder/wire wheel, and paint sprayer

Ability to operate a chop saw and punch station

Capacity to understand and follow established procedures

Physical stamina to stand, stoop, and bend throughout an 8 hour shift

Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions

Ability to lift 50 lbs. on an occasional basis throughout an 8 hour shift

Integrity and personal accountability; providing clear and accurate reporting regarding work activities, acknowledging mistakes and oversights, and taking ownership of any required corrective action

Safely and competently operate a forklift

Must be 100% drug free.

Preferred Competencies:

Ability to operate 7018 stick welders, MIG welders, plasma welders, ironworkers, drill presses and other pieces of shop equipment.

Heavy equipment experience

Basic computer competency

A positive, upbeat, personality. A sense of humor is always a plus

Compensation and Benefits:

Starting hourly wage equates to between $37,000 and $50,000 per year (base + overtime)
