Maritime office assistant

Job description

Looking for a driven and enthusiastic indivudal to support a local shipyard. You will be in charge of invoicing, billing, providing updates to clients and communicating with the manager for weekly priorities. If you have strong administrative skills and a passion for boating we would love to see your resume!

salary: $50,000 - $56,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 7 AM - 4 PM
education: Associate

Responsibilities

Client Communication: Handling incoming inquiries from clients, scheduling meetings, and maintaining positive relationships with clients by providing excellent customer service.

Billing and Invoicing: Generating invoices, tracking payments, following up on outstanding invoices, and maintaining accurate billing records.

Administrative Support: Assisting with administrative tasks such as filing documents, organizing schedules, preparing reports, and coordinating office activities.

Logistics Coordination: Managing logistics related to shipments, deliveries, and supplies for the shipyard, ensuring timely and efficient operations.

Documentation Management: Maintaining and organizing documents such as contracts, agreements, permits, and regulatory compliance records.

Financial Recordkeeping: Assisting in financial recordkeeping tasks such as budget tracking, expense reports, and reconciling accounts.

Coordination with Internal Teams: Collaborating with other departments within the shipyard, such as engineering, procurement, and operations, to ensure smooth communication and coordination of projects.
