**Description**

UWL is currently looking for an Export Coordinator in our Rocky River HQ!

The Export Coordinator is the main point of contact for customers.

**Responsibilities:**

* Order Processing: Receives documents and initiates logging process, confirms data received is in compliance with all US Customs requirements

* Processes all documents in accordance with US Customs requirements, coordinates cargo availability and arranges pick-ups and finalizes billing and document distribution as required.

* Prepares export declarations and related Bills of Lading in Ocean Export

* Coordinates the outbound movement of international shipments

* Establishes rates and services with third party carriers if needed

* Provides expertise and resources to coordinate ship points as assigned

* Maintains considerable dialogue within many organizations and outside customers (vendors, carriers), including participation meetings

* Operation within a team environment, to include joint decision-making problem-solving and accountability

* Shipment status reporting: Review and daily monitoring, ensures all measurements standards are met

* Displays quick thinking and problem-solving skills to provide the most efficient solution to clients and customers

* Reviews individual shipment P&L and identifies correct and proper arrangements and cost effective routing

* Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications:**

* Prefer one (1) to three (3) years of experience in customer service type of environment

* Must be able to work in a fast paced and time sensitive environment

* Good communication and organization skills and a strong attention to detail are required

* Ability to work in a team environment

* Candidate should have the ability to learn various computer programs and navigate web applications with ease

* A college degree is preferred but not required
