The Disclosure Specialist must

have a firm understanding of the compliance/disclosure desk position, RESPA and TRID guidelines,

and timing requirements.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Managing company pipelines for initial disclosure and final disclosure sets, change of

circumstances, and notices, and making sure proper disclosures are sent out within the proper

time frame.

* Reviewing Loan Estimates, Closing Disclosures and disclosure packages to make sure they are

compliant prior to them being sent to out to borrowers.

* Documenting and tracking errors and omissions in disclosures and disclosure packages for

remediation.

* Verifying validity of Change of Circumstances requests.

* Pulling internal compliance reports from loan origination systems and ensuring that all issues are

addressed before the release of the disclosure packages.

* Ensuring disclosure packages are properly archived.

* Providing input on areas for improvement in the disclosure function.

* Abiding by and remaining in compliance with all national laws governing the mortgage industry

as well as any applicable laws in the states in which Silverton is currently licensed.

* Attending all mandatory training (live or webinar), including but not limited to, attending and

completing to satisfaction Anti-Money Laundering.

* Other duties as assigned.

Education, Knowledge, Experience

* Minimum 3-5 years in mortgage industry in closing, disclosure desk, processing, etc.

* Firm understanding of RESPA and TRID guidelines

* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Teams

* Excellent time management; ability to work in fast-paced environment

* Strategic Thinker

* Proven written and verbal communication skills

* Ability to type
