Interior Door Assembler

Mead operates 52 Lumber Yard, Retail, Truss Plant, and Component locations across nine Midwestern states.

As an Interior Door Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling interior doors in a timely and efficient manner. You will also be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of each door assembly.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Read and follow blueprints to determine door specifications
  • Assemble door components using various hand and power tools
  • Inspect finished doors for quality and accuracy, make adjustments as needed.
  • Install hardware and other components onto doors
  • Complete projects according to deadlines.


Qualifications & Requirements:

Ability to analyze technical problems, determine root causes and develop remediation strategies for permanent resolutions.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Available for occasional overtime.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.

Ability to read and accurately use a tape measure.
