Position: Trust Administrator

Location: San Diego, CA 92121

Duration: 5+ months with possible extension

Pay rate: $41-43.00/hr on W2

JOB SUMMARY:

• Responsible for the administration, risk management and servicing of assigned fiduciary and investment management accounts.
• May include Relationship Management responsibilities as well as product specialty knowledge and expertise (such as IRAs, Charitable/Philanthropic Accounts, ILITs, Estates, etc.)
• Will likely work as part of a team of experts administering accounts where tasks are assigned based on complexity.
• Accountable for servicing and retention of existing accounts.
• Administers accounts in a manner which ensures compliance with the governing documents, state statutes and policies and procedures.
• Responsible for meeting all corporate and regulatory compliance standards.
• Perform due diligence to determine client contact information or lack thereof.
• Upon determining path of fund remittance, prepare appropriate documentation for client communication and send monies to the appropriate endpoint.
• Document due diligence; document determination of path of fund remittance; and send monies.

Required Skills:

• Attention to detail is a critical skill as well as investigative abilities.
• The candidate must be highly organized and be able to follow instructions as per project guidelines.
• A paralegal or accounting background might be helpful.
• Experience with the SEI trust system, Lexis-Nexis, or Ancestry would be valuable but not required.
• No minimum education required, but any experience in the personal trust discipline would be helpful.
